"This Pheonix Flight is one animal to get right that's for sure, but today has the assistance of Peslier (and will need it) as he's a funny old bugger with a bit of a mind of his own. His last two runs were over over hdles. The run at left handed Aintree did not get his hdles right but still ran out a very convincing second - and proved he needs right handed by coming out and winning at market Rasen shows that's he needs a right handed track. Yep he has it all to do but to my mind if he's going the right way is well well overpriced on the forecast drying ground and Peslier is the bonus " YOU BEAUTY 50/1 AND A FAST FINISHING THIRD EASY MONEY! Phoenix Flight had won over hurdles last month and transferred his goodform back to the level. He was noted travelling well quite a way out, and finished well without ever looking likely to reach the winner. The marathon trip clearly suited.

"The booking of Frankie Dettori for this horse and the fact its visored first time makes it a very decent bet. Its run at Yarmouth in a pretty significant race (thrown up several smart sorts in the last ten years,) was pretty good second to Wise Venture who looks progressive he ran level with Wise Venture behind the leader and got the lead over 1f out, hard pressed and ridden entering final furlong, headed and not pace of winner inside final furlong, and eased towards finish (tchd 4-1) looks good and worth the watch on Atr - this 5flngs tonight looks right up its street " MEMO - YOUR RULE IS NOT TO BACK 2 YR OLDS AND HERE YOU ARE NOT ONLY BACKING ONE BUT NAPPING ONE AS WELL BADLY DRAWN ROUTED ALONG THE VISOR DID NOT HELP - FORGET IT
