Am interested in a couple today but these guys will take some catching thats for sure
Spirit of Oakdale is put up by JohnC  in the 5.00 Salisbury and it has a great chance of getting him into top spot at a big price - its only win was over 7flngs  when first-time visor, appeared to do the trick. Under a positive ride from the front he tended to idle and wander in the straight but he was always holding his rivals at bay. Not the most straight-forward and after being reassessed will find life tougher, although in very capable hands.  today has Pieces first time trained by Swinburne and ridden by  Alan Kirby should see this 7flngs out well - now the stalls have been changed its fair to say the higher drawn horses(used to be low ) have a slight advantage at Salisbury massive price at the moment but any money and it could be a nice lil earner out of the 8 box - has to get out and must have a great trading potential at the current odds (Chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, weakened well over 1f out (op 12-1 tchd 14-1))

My thoughts run to the 8.30 at Southwell and the great run by  Sapphire Rouge against my analyser horse  The Strawberry One (over too short a distance at Towcester last time) puts her bang in the frame against the boys tonight over her right trip of 3m 110yds  her mark is just about right for that run  she should be better than that run as she literally kicked a hdle out of the ground early and still had a ton left at the end of the 2m5f

resulllllt Sapphire Rouge 12/1 - she did not jump the hdles well (only 6 of the 13 were jumped cos of low sun) lagged around the back and came home steady steady steady and a cracking leap at the last - nice to get a nap in  - she should be right at home in a mares distance race on the flat and in notebook accordingly)
