the blog is 1 year 2 days old!

Started with my first post  27th may 2010 and its been fun.
the complaint since starting seems to have all about how racing has gone into a steep nose dive quickly in that time - we have seen some super animals but also some dire races and prizes that are rubbish - leading to more trainer punts on no hoper's who you never see again.
is it just me / dont think so many of our top riders and trainers are starting to bang on about how the game is changing.
Have looked at the Derby Meeting and apart from the premier races the cards both days is pretty grim - my money is more in my pocket than punted and only the bigger prized races attract me at all - will be putting up the trends on the Oaks and the derby later in week.
Rite of Passage first time out against Fame and Glory at Leopardstown today looks to be a thriller and am taking a chance on Elliots horse Dirar for the place market  should get bigger in running so am looking for a big place payout the way it won the Ebor  was spectacular and the pace looks as if it will be pretty fast today so am expecting him for a late charge
 good luck  all
 Bob
