where is that killer nap coming from? 30th may 2011

still playing the game of finding a really big priced winner and that looks forlorn!  and the guys at the top dont have the luxury of simply playing the form book looking for fun - they all too busy looking to see what each other napping and hoping an outsider will sluice in instead.

today the races are over 1m6f  as far as i am concerned and any headgear first time a plus.

first stop Redcar and  Smart Vilotta - bred for distance and first time trying 1m6f today with a visor on - Mrs Duffield and A Nichols do well when they team up and the market at 45 this morning and 37s now is interesting

3,30 Carlisle and a smart 1m4f handicap with Red Fama out for the first time this season attracts back in distance track will suite but seems to need more cut 29/1 currently -Rain came in time and drifted right out betfair won so well 1st (11) Red Fama 40-1
 2nd (5) Hong Kong Island 11-4 Fav
 3rd (3) Mcbirney 4-1

of the others -4.10 Redcar  Bikini Babe is well over priced at 49/1 much better filly than has so far achieved has run well above this sort of mark and has the makings of a gamble from this yard - has a decent turn of speed and has run well in much better contests including the oaks last year  under Mr Fallon when she was simply  baulked and squeezed when making a run - what else in this race compares? trouble is can she handle g/frm ground - she has the speed
 good luck today -
Bob

got the 64/1 win and placed but thought the race was at 3.45 and was having a liquid lunch with my girls so did not put it up as the nap - a 40/1 winner would have been nice for the naps - why do these things happen in betting? lol money back for the outsider satchel thank you very much

Bob, what a pity you didnt get Red Fama in the naps table......I would have admired a win like that......at least you got the cash though at 64-1!! fantastic, and there is still tomorrow
