What a joke this is, the man in the lead is laying 66/1, 33/1 and 20/1 shots all day, any moron can do that!!
To make matters worse I thought i'd put up the winner of the big race (Stewards House) at Newton Abbot half hour ago which would have put me into the lead only to find out i'd mistakenly layed the beast which wipes me out of the competition. I suppose i have the comfort of knowing i've just smashed bet365 and paddy power with £50 e/w placed this morning on the winner @ 10's. But thats not the point of the post to brag, im very upset and am not going to enter this farce of a competition until laying is removed.
So come on guys knock this muppet off the top, don't let him win.

You have my sympathy.....I did exactly the same eatler in the week and would have been up there challenging....at least I had the money in the bank as compensation...but its not he point is it? I agree we can all lay 50-1 shots, I am looking to consistantly have a monthly win rate of more than 45% - then big money becomes possible.
John
sympathy especially as the ole boy won so well
Thanks for the supportive comments lads, I was very angry yesterday at the time of post for being so stupid and not checking what i'd done. I logged in to update my score and saw a red lay there and saw red myself then the arm came off the teddy.
I normally get some good maiden info and have a few for today
1445 Kemp) - Midnight Waltz - This home-bred daughter of Rainbow Quest has had more than her fair share of problems, hence it is only now that she makes her extremely belated debut, but she has long since shaped as being above average at home. She held entries into both English and Irish Oaks at one point, and I'm pleased to see her finally make it to the track, as connections have had to be patient with a filly they have always had high expectations for. If ability trumps greenness on the day, I'm not sure the form/ratings of those in opposition is totally insurmountable for her, and it is certainly interesting that Prescott has opted for tomorrow's contest, over an infinitely weaker looking event on Wednesday.
1720 Wind - Perchance - makes her debut on Monday evening at Windsor, in a six furlong maiden. She more than hints at ability on the practice grounds, and shows a fair level of speed, but I'd still be slightly concerned about this trip proving sharp enough for her, all the same. She'll need to do a good amount of learning on the job, and I'm told a promising introduction, rather than a successful one is the expected outcome, so given that she must give away experience to Ladyship and co, the Cecil filly is probably best kept to a watching brief on this occasion.
1920 Wind - Almagest - looks to break his maiden at Windsor on Monday evening, and connections are expectant that that is exactly what he will do. Having made a very encouraging debut, his fourth placed finish at Sandown when sent off favourite, may have appeared a step sideways, rather then forwards, but I'm not sure it was. He was initially taken back, but was soon rushed up around the outside due to a muddling pace being set, and from then on, was trapped wide. He did travel well for the majority of the race and his failure to find greatly for pressure can easily be put down to those earlier exertions. The wide-margin winner that day had previously chased home Mijhaar, while the second, third and fifth all won maidens next time out, so the form is strong and I think he will take the beating here, in a race far more likely to play to his strengths. It's also worth noting that he is a big chunky son of Galileo and having had ongoing issues with soundness, returning to the track just fourteen days after his debut, may well have been too much, too soon for the Clarehaven inmate.
2.45 Sir Mark Prescot hasn't been doing that well of late 2 winners from 19 runs and though his strike rate for 2 yr olds is at its best at kempton this year with 29% wins/ runs I would want to see this one backed (if it has any chances it will be methinks) there are some well bred newcomers - tuff race
5.20 nightmare race - also had a word from the yard that Byton is ready to run tonight though place only as it will def come on for the run Candy has some decent results with this line and has a 24% strike rate for 2nd run so best place market and notebook for next run reccomended
the race at 7.20 my money is on Cairncross for this, stepped up to 1m2f - you make a decent case for Almagest and have watched the replays looks a good honest animal (more than can be said for mine actually) looks like saver bet coming in from me on it thanks for the post
