The form is not reliable today ! 3.10 Newbury

There are so many unknowns today can see that the market could well be the best guide. There are good races to make notes about but cant see any outstanding bets and running analyser gives me 3/4 finishers in photos so that makes me pull my horns in.
My attention is drawn to the 3.10 at Newbury in the 1m5f at 3.10. The going is good with no predicted showers.
four 3 yr old have won this race  three 4 yr old's one five and one 6 yr old one 8 yr old  the average price is around 4/1 to 10/1  (the 8 yr old winner going off at 28/1 having not run for 155 days.)
Previous winning form in races not to the fore  nor any great stats on where they ran.
so concentrating on what we know the winner looks as if it will come from the  3 yr olds with the weight allowance to get them that edge.
Time to Work is Balding animal (Trainer who has best stats in this line up ) was in the 1st time Visor last run at ascot and certainly lacked any pace over the 1m4f this extra will def help retains them today has an improving profile but has not run well to this mark - better ground may help it but iffy Certainly being backed has dropped from 11/1 to current 7/1

Galivant the other 3 yr old is in its first handicap and is very progressive winning its last at Chepstow eased right down (watch race on ATR) was a 1/9 shot that day  tracked leaders, went 2nd 8f out, led on bit over 3f out, clear over 2f out, eased final 100 yards did nothing at Longchamp last run and  that run can be discounted for form purposes
A word for the recent runner at Newbury Rockfella who ran right up to this mark in a class 5  and cannot be discounted at the age of five has a lot of positives and is at that bookies uneasy price of 9/1 currently
but in the book Galivant has the most positive stats
 Good luck all
 Bob
as ever the result was not what I wanted but saved and made money on the win
1 Rockfella 11/1
2 Spice Fair 15/2
3 Time To Work 5/1
