Selections for the cup this morning are actually high drawn in the main of the last 10 years (see previous blog) i also notice that this race is hardly ever run on anything but soft or g/soft ground - that may affect the stats for the draw as in the main over 2miles the box does not have that much significance boxes 4and 5 and 14 15 have the highest returns
these boxes are plus in my book
So am very interested in
AAIM TO PROSPER 25/1 on its bril run under Dettori against Junior at Ascot over 2m4f g/frm - had a stinker of the draw that day out of the 3 box and had no daylight until the finishing bend
La Vecchia Scuola has a plum drawn 13 and has major chances at the current 33/1 has beaten Mamlook over hdles and ran a cracker against Dazzling light at chester will be staying on well
And the biggest dark horse in the lineup has to be MACARTHUR currently 85/1 betfair ex Obrien animal that crying out for a distance race has won in top class 1 and look at its run at Newmarket 1m6f pressed leader for a long time then as they came he battled back for 3rd (well beaten) in the last couple of furlongs this is his time of year and is in my book 3 lbs well in for its run over 1m5f good ground at chester out of montjea this animal will stay and is def place potential
