GOING: GOOD TO FIRM (Good in places; Watered Wednesday; GoingStick: Round 8.8, Sprint: far side 8.7, stands' side 8.1) (Home traight of round course dolled out approx 5yds, no effect on race dists; back straight and bend at innermost configuration) WEATHER (Sunny) STALLS Sprint course - Far side; Remainder – Inside
Have four races for tonight and will there on the track for a great evening before trogging off to Epsom
7.15 7flngs Imperial Delight – Candy yard is flying and no reason to suspect he won’t get this distance – was so badly hampered last time at Brighton at 6flngs yet still powered through for a comfortable win – currently 5/1 bookies and same betfair
Though there is nothing mentioned about Lean machine from Richard Hannon this is a lively outsider who can run into the places has the right profile for this track and class and at 22s on betfair should be noted as a solid claim each way
7.50 1m you really do need to be drawn low this mile and the prob fav Ithinkbest is out of the 15 box and have a small lay on it – and am looking for a big run from the filly Rafiqa she is a speedy lil animal that on form has top average speed and top speed superior to these colts. Not a really strong conviction however and a small each way bet recommended unless a significant run on the market late
8.55 1m 2f and a really horrible race for form pickers – there is a Barney Curly animal running so the market could be volatile I really don’t have a lot for these to tell the truth they are much of a muchnes but have a sneaky feeling that Best horse Black N Brew will put up a show now it has an additional 2flngs and the hill to get up – ran a cracker under Mr McCoy of all jocks finishing like a train in a 1m flat vs jumps jockey race out of the same box as tonight. The ground will be cut up a bit for this last race of the evening and that will be to its advantage methinks 8/1 currently bookies a decent each way prospect.
