today we have really poor quality racing and therefore poor quality animals. have taken the richest race today - the 6 Furlongs race at Pontefract at 3.15, I say the richest its £9,346 which you have to admit is a pretty poor prize money for any day but a Monday! At least in this race the animals will be about the best on offer.
Drawing board is on offer at 13/2 currently -- Channon has two in the race and it will pay to keep an eye on the outsider for him Saucy Buck - its race against Zebedee at ascot class 3 was good in the context of this race

Post Race --- gave 2lbs to the favourite and just got beat miles clear of the third beaten by the slight weight and the disadvantage of the box both well clear
