From the Hannon Yard Saturday 21st

Sandown - Measuring Time tries for the hat-trick in the Solario Stakes at Sandown, and he is a colt we like. We thought that he would need it first time out at Salisbury so were a bit surprised when he won, but he followed up at Newbury, and, though it was a muddling four-horse race, Hung Parliament gave the form a boost when winning a Listed race at Deauville the other day, so we have to be hopeful in what looks an above-average renewal.

"Blue Angel was unlucky not to be placed in the Oak Tree at Goodwood and on that form she must have a chance in the Listed Atlanta Stakes. She had to be switched twice down there and was only beaten a length and a half at the end, finishing best of all.

"Similarly, Cumulus Nimbus came home with a rattle at Goodwood to finish fourth in a competitive handicap - he likes a fast pace and he should get it here, so he definitely has each-way claims.

"The ground will be on the easy side up at Chester, so we are sending Lethal Glaze up there for the Listed handicap. This fellow must have cut, and he showed much of his old fire when he got it at Newbury last week, finishing second to Beachfire. They put him up 3lb, but as long as this does not come too quick he ought to run well."
