SUNDERLANDS HANDICAP 3.10 Sandown

Really interesting Trends for this competitive handicap with only 1 (joint) fav in the last ten running’s

Age is def with the four year olds with 6 wins, (1 winner each for 3 5 6 and 8 yr olds)

Prices are also mouth watering the Jnt fav winner going off at 6/1 and the rest closer to double figures

Winning form at Sandown has been a prerequisite the last few years and all have had winning form before going on to win this

The fillies and mares have not done well having no winners for their sex in the trends

Only 2 winners carried less than 9 stone

The Probabale fav is Hanovarian Baron who does hold the profile – would prefer a bit of cut and is up 4lbs for its last win but has speed to burn and put up its best display last time at Ascot – he has bypassed the Ebor for this race and that is significant a consistent animal has a good draw and must have a saver on it even with the ten year stats against it this could be the one that gets an animal home with less than 9-00 and the favs stat especially with rain

Sandor has won around here CDG last year as a three year old - Defied top weight and registered his second success. and showed a most game attitude to get on top of the runner-up near the finish. He is consistent this was his first win on turf. There should be a little more to come over this trip as he ought not to go up too much.off a mark of and finished a close third at ascot last over 1m4f and return to this trip track and ground time of a mark of 92 is well within his compass add to that fits the trends well a 4 yr old P J Makin has a 16% strike rate here from 25 runners is spot on this handicap mark has the best profile for the winner

Elliptical has a real chance on its run at Goodwood last time has Dane Oniel (who is 3 from 13 for Butler (2 from 5 rides this year) on board - that was an apprentice race at a fierce gallop which they should get today and is well capable of running to this mark Dane Oneil really wants to ride this animal ! currently 16s makes this the each way fancy

Hannon is very sweet on the chances of “Cumulus Nimbus came home with a rattle at Goodwood to finish fourth in a competitive handicap - he likes a fast pace and he should get it here, so he definitely has each-way claims.

good luck today guys
