Tell you the truth today's cards are extremely competitive and will be backing betfair at time of race rather than long range selections
Will be Keeping my powder dry for tomorrows racing at Market Raspberry (Summer Plate )and Newbury (Wetherby Super Sprint) and on Sunday the (Darley Irish Oaks) - Looks to be a strong raiding party going over again this year. ---
RESULT 1 Proud Chieftain 7/2J GET INNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
2 Focail Maith 12/1 3 Formidable Guest 33/1
just a thought on the summer plate - here are a few stats and pointers you might want to look for
The most obvious thing straight away is the great record of Peter Bowen. Four winners at 11/2, 3/1, 5/1 and 16/1 from eight years and he didn’t have a runner in 2004!
In all Bowen has had twenty-one runners in this race, four wins and three others placed. So his yard should be given close inspection.
three other big yards:
Paul Nicholls: seven runners, two placed
Alan King: four runners, one placedPhilip Hobbs: five runners, one placed
Nothing to get too excited about from these top yards but David Pipe and Jonjo Oneill positively target this race.
The age and experience of the winners varies with winners ages ranging from six to eleven and the number of races over fences also differs somewhat from a low of just five to a high of twenty-three in Tango Royal’s case in 2005.
Horses in poor form could be discounted though - all eight winners either won or placed on their previous completed outing and or having their first start of the season.
Jonjo O’Neills 2009 winner Nostringsattached carried the biggest weight to victory with 11 stone 5lb but six of the eight winners were rated between 127 and 139 will put the full trend up in the morning or if lucky late this evening

have updated post because I forgot to add the animals in the range 127-139
You beauty The early pace was decent but it slackened at halfway, and relatively unexposed 3yos filled five of the first six places.
PROUD CHIEFTAIN had improved with each of four runs and shaped like a step up to 1m2f would suit when a staying on third over 1m here last time. One of the least exposed runners in the line-up, he was well backed and produced a powerful run out wide to get off the mark in good style. Out of a 1m4f winner, he could continue to progress at this trip and beyond and should be able to win more races.
Great call mate - and I sadly didn't get on!
