It ran third here off a rating of 73 on both occasions and easily surpassed todays rating of 62 which is just yummy - has not performed this year hence the drop in the weights but today can get to the front where he needs to be as the others are hold up or lack track experience - can make the frame for a certainty for me and its a great each way bet " very solid second  good ride from Dane!

A point on the value posting - Value is just too difficult to explain - lets face it getting 10/1 on a 4/1 shot looks value till it runs a 100/1 race. horses are  about how the feel on the morning of the race how the trainer/yard punts and the influence of faces getting on early as opposed to waiting for the drift. 
Just to say I am happy to judge value against the forecast Sp of the racing post and Betfair - I take as my starting point the Vfb ratings on speed distance track and going for flat races - once have made my selections based on that. I figure the two prices and the look for the best prices offered by the bookmakers (as those quoted above - thanks to the OLBG site) (Sign in there Martin they have great monthly free tipping competitions )  if you do it via the site address on the right of the blog you will find it very worthwhile
