post race Well what do i make of Fort View run? was so far out the back in the early stages and looked intimidated by the fences - was stoked from half way round buckled badly 6 from home where Turko went and still kept going into 5th place . Went all the way round the outside and it was really complete in inexperience - he warmed up well from half way and will keep the faith for a good future run from this 7yr old dark horse

It was difficult keeping track of Fort View, because, as you said, was at the back for the first half of the race. It did plug on, although mainly through beaten horses. Maybe a slight drop in grade and smaller fences (obviously)
