One bet for me today in the above race for fillies and was taken by the run of Sirens Song when it finished close to Mesarayi on g/sft ground 1m2f first time out that day and did not get the best of runs but powered at the finish through a gap that appeared for her - is in the Irish Guineas and the Investec Oaks, shaped promisingly in a race in which she was one of many to meet trouble in running over the last 2f. She got through a gap when she needed to and ran on quite well without seriously troubling the winner. But the winner is special and got the run of the race so more to come from this filly who is by Azamour and would prefer faster ground on breeding - O'Brien saddles three today all well bred fillies but Sirens is the only one in the field who has so far run over 1m2f and Harrington yard is canny enough to start her at this distance first time - she is a big imposing filly and its worth watching the replay on Atr.

Even though she had to be re -plated she won pulling a cart at 9.8 you wont get such a silly price on this one again
