Trends for the bet365 (whitbread) Saturday 23rd April)

Hi Guys hope you all ready for a great days racing and filling Yer boots.
Guess our John is off to Charing where he will be in danger of sun stroke at the very least (there are no stands at point to point races mate)
Ok the big race is mouth watering and have given each runner a rating as per the stats -
this is for fun only just to see how important the Stats are as opposed to real life sweat and tears --
Top rated is Lavelle Horse Fire and Rain(Fr) 8 yr old carrying 10-02 who is no forlorn hope with g/frm ground  and the odds at 33/1 are way too big for this one -- have to go back to the summer national at Uttoxeter just to see how good this one is winning at the age of 6 on g/frm ground had run on the flat at ascot to no avail only finishing 14th the time before went off like a blue streak at  Uttox over the 3m4f  had sweated freely and carrying 11-03 under Fehily just kept the gallop disputing the lead all the way  was disputing the lead at 3 out where he jumped as if he was just starting the race and sprinted away.Led from start to finish.  This is a genuine right handed animal   who gets in off the same 126 mark today  Lavelle yard are a punters yard and any significant moves for the animal will be significant last time he went to Wincanton in a hdles race - Looked badly in need of the run on this return from a 576-day absence and lost touch on the second circuit. He ought to improve a good deal.
Joint second top rated are Balthazar King and Poker De Sivola  who I will pass over on the grounds that Poker was brought down heavily last time and Balthazar is too young and inexperienced.
Baby Run in a handicap from hunters does not appeal even though he gets in off a pretty good weight he is now 11 and the recod for 11 yr olds is not up to much and has had some hard races
Meanus Dandy winner of the badger alle is ridden by Ruby but thats because of the Nichols connection - has won round here over 3miles but that was off a much lower mark than todays and cant see it improving for the ground on its last run at Doncaster on g/frm - I think he would prefer to be on Maktu.
I particularly like the chances of Maktu who can really jump a fence and last run under Ruby Walsh was pretty spectacular at Newbury has a DaH of 146 for that Run and was carrying a stone plus more than the winner 3m2f good ground has run a really good race to be second around this track on soft.  He jumps and he stays and is the ideal sort for this sort of race.
Church Island is the horse who has come here with the same prep as last year and top weight makes him look very vulnerable but as ever is a horse to watch for a bet in running

So there you are guys my horse are in blue placed in Purple and lay in Red  and hope they hold the stats and win for me - watch out for Church island down the back straight the first time for a big in running price ! Good luck

Result and dont believe how far back it was only to power home Poker De Sivola  was simply so good at the end of the race made money on the lays  they ground was too fast for Maktu  and the top noted Fire and Rain was simply as big as a bus  perhaps better take another look to refine the ratings - the form of horses unseating in the national and scotish National is an uncanny stat
