1.55 Goodwood 2miles SOFT ground 110911

Bearing in mind that this 2 miles will stretch these to the limit in this ground a perusal of the form in Vfb shows the pedigree of most of them need better ground to show their best.
One that stands out is Time to Work bred from Hurricane run who's prodigy thrive on soft/heavy going. taking yesterdays run away winners bred from Montjeu this one needs to be looked at closely - Visored for the second time  he went third over 1m5f at Newbury last time  looming large and running well with his big tractor action not letting him down on the good ground - In touch, steady headway to track leaders 3f out, chased winner over 2f out, soon ridden, no impression, one pace and lost 2nd final 120yds (tchd 9-2 and 11-2) -
loomed up going well, but was unable to quicken when let down beaten only one and half length, that's good form to come into the race with. He is handicapped at 85 and easily achieved a mark of 87 on that last run and with the ground in his favour more than the other's he is on a winning mark under distance jock Jimmy Fortune.
You cannot go into a 2mile soft ground race on one animal alone and anyone fancying Schism under Cathy Gowan has a live chance upped to 2 miles  has a real fillies advantage in the weights ran a stormer last time just beating home kahssabelle  its true but was held up for the trip and looks as if the frame is where she will end up today in this race.

Result very disappointing - Time to Work  was running a decent race but did not appear to get home
In touch, tracked leaders 4f out, progress in centre and well on terms 3f out, weakened 2f out (op 11-2)
Schism was never on terms in this ground but did at least stay had been beaten easly by the winner last time they met and the same case today
