LAY selections now carry a 1 point exposure (risk), the same as for BACK selections.
Examples
A BAK selection which wins at 5/1 wins 5 points.
A BAK selection which wins at EVENS wins 1 point.
A BAK selection which wins at 1/5 wins 0.2 points.
A BAK selection which loses at any price loses 1 point.
A LAY selection which wins at any price loses 1 point.
A LAY selection which loses at 5/1 wins 0.2 points.
A LAY selection which loses at EVENS wins 1 point.
A LAY selection which loses at 1/5 wins 5 points.
That stops the 100/1 layers thank goodness and there is good reason to think that laying the horses is a tad more scientific and thus rewarding there are plenty of 1/5 on shots worthy of opposing good luck all
