Ok Bob I'm going to dip my toe into the water :)

5.40 Kempton Park - Professor John @ 9/2. An eye-catching victory over C&D 10 days ago beating the horse I had backed (Appyjack) into 4th. Appyjack has been out and won since.

Up in class today but due to conditions of race is running 8lb lower than his previous success.

Considering a dutch with Two Certainties (12/1) as that's come out top on the ratings system that I've started using.

Any thoughts?

Professor John has to be timed just right and Doyle did that to perfection last time that's for sure and though a touch up in grade and draw ok have him 3lbs above this mark with Alfousy as the biggest improver till his last run. Two Certainties is a pretty iffy animal n the vfb but you have the break of 45 days as the most positive for this animal as he has run well above this mark fresh -- good luck

Like we said at the beginning of the day --- that's why I tend to stay with the bigger races mate. To be honest the winner of that race was not on my radar but handled the track well and cant be penalised for this poor fare but only the money spoke for it

Yeah I was a little disappointed with my fancy but did back Two Certainties for a place so all wasn't lost.

There was a good shout for the winner on the OLBG forums but I couldn't see it myself and as you say, the money spoke.

I'm still learning the ropes, have only been getting stuck in to racing fairly seriously for the last few months really so hopefully things will progress healthily.

Good luck Bob
