Horses to follow on 17/02/12
I have to have a close look at Tanerko Emery (FR) 6 year old next time out. In the parade it looked so well defined from his physical appearance and was available at 240/1 to win in the 13.50 Novie Hurdles in Newbury today. It travelled beautiful from the front trading as low as 3.0 for a place until very late when it raced a bit wide and couldnt go with three very strong horses in the Novice sphere Montbazon, Vulcanite, Colour Squadron and All The Aces. If this horse gets again off at these odds next time out it will be for me a def BTL or even a win chance, as this horse looks nicely bred and finsihed close to really good opposition after making a real good front run. Another one that impressed me was Gullinbursti and Knock A Hand in the 14.25 Newbury Class 2 3miler, the tow are really good horses i think Konock a Hand has huge impressive powerful muscular stride and Gullinbursti need credit to go with him after having good trouble Inrunning before. Both are always in place chances off this mark or if raised I think even.

Tanerko Emery Was on the best line for the course and ran a cracker - looks like more of a stayer on this evidence Rade he was cooked once the race started in earnest but a strong traveller who is bred for further - I agree the run was very eyecatching. he will be off a decent mark for a handicap where it looks as if he future lies -- notebooked accordingly thanks
KNOCK A HAND looked like a mud lark till today mate but he travelled really well off this ground and stayed with a turn of speed and battled so well, he´s in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham but he has size to be a great lil chaser next year.
Thanks for the Nod
Bob
and Darlan was going like a train when he fell in the 1.15 god only knows how McCoy can get up from a fall and a kicking like he got, much more so for him to come out in the bumper and win under a cracking ride
In that Race the 4yr old Horatio Hornblower has to be the eye catcher 4yos and newcomers tend to struggle in this race, so a performance of real promise He was green as grass in the parade and was doing his best work towards the finish. He´s bred to enjoy further over jumps, but should have no trouble winning an ordinary bumper or two before making that switch. def Notebook this one
