Well that was not a good nights frost and put paid to the weekends racing pretty well everywhere - they will do their best to stage the race later am sure of that - but like previous delays the field will cut up big time The BHA tweeted afterwards: "In event of Newbury abandonment for Sat, the racecourse, the sponsors, BHA, the Levy Board and broadcasters will liaise on alternatives. "Work is underway with the racecourse, sponsors, BHA, Levy Board & broadcasters to re-schedule entire Newbury card or at very least key races."
Today Kempton today holds a bumper card for Jumpers and as ever such races for seasoned jumpers are hard to crack - The Strawberry One runs in the 2.40 and again Daryl Jacobs rides - one of the better Back to Lay animals made her Debut on Polytrack without success but has two bumper wins to her credit in mares only races so today's task is tuffer against the boys -- she made the running in a bumper here on the Aw and led the field at a cracking pace till the home bend when she faded back into the pack -- I took the 35s on offer and am green on the current 21s - she was beaten in her bumper by good animal -Cinderella Rose before winning a 2mile bumper at Towcester - this kempton test will not be far enough but her current form shows that a back to lay should be profitable she has recorded times faster than Tetlami and Hard to Swallow who are the market leaders - she will stay and the betfair place price of 4.1 reflects that

I would be interested to what going Slow translates, as The strawberry One has a great record on Good to firm. Tetlami is the only animal that pops up form my ATR tracker and i remmeber i recorded the sectionals from LTO in Newbury, theyre quite impressive, but that translates in the price and its a new surface today with big ???.
Hard To Swallow is interesting for us, the horse comes out of the Battonier race we disscussed about.
Tetlami travelled like a dream throughout,I was just abit concerned that it will find the gap. But N.H form doesnt translate to A.W at all i havwe to admit, they go much faster and different animals are needed with fast muscle twitches.
