last 10 years:
Age (Win-Place-Runners)
5yo: 0-0-1
6yo: 2-3-13 Kauto Star
7yo: 4-7-21 kauto Star
8yo: 1-4-28 Kauto star
9yo: 2-2-16 Kauto star
10yo: 0-3-11
11+: 1-0-10
6 and 7 yr old have by far the best strike rate when you discount Kauto Martin

Thanks for that Bob. I am going to have a small bet on Riverside Theatre.

KEMPTON clerk of the course Barney Clifford has announced Sunday's William Hill King George VI Chase meeting has been abandoned.

There is an inspection at 2pm on Sunday for Monday's card, which will feature the rescheduled King George, featuring history-seeking Kauto Star, and the williamhill.com Christmas Hurdle if it goes ahead.

Speaking following Friday's midday inspection, Clifford said: "With temperatures forecast to rise to 3C on Monday morning, we are optimistic that racing will go ahead that day. Unfortunately, there is no prospect that the milder air will arrive in time for Boxing Day.

It was 'on the cards' if you pardon the pun. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it goes ahead.

Cant see the breeding will get that one home for my money Martin is really from a flat bred and think that 2miles is its optimum trip certainly jumps well in the main give you that - but a fast run race at 3miles?
what makes you think its a bet?

Hi Bob,
There aren't many true stayers in the race and I was very impressed when he won the graduation chase last time out albeit over 2 and a half miles. It's easier to last 3 miles at Kempton and the 14/1 looks a value bet mate.

well its been won by horses who have not won over 3miles that's for sure and has ground and track to suite it the class 2 it won over 2m4f jumped beautifully and 12l win can never be discounted - think its booked for a place more than the win - but henderson can never be underestimated so good luck mate
