No racing today - AP McCoy
Well its all downhill till the boxing day meeting according to the weather outlook - so get wrapping the Chrissie presents. Have been looking at some stats for Kempton and though Kauto Star is a wonderful animal and an exception he has to overcome a stat for the kempton meeting that I will reveal later - (if as I suspect its right then it makes interesting thought - (Anyone else know age stats for the entire boxing day meeting? )

Watched the show last night and have to say what I always say about our Sport - its still medieval - there isn't just a sportsman it is one rider with a mind to win and an animal with a tiny brain (near insane) that would prefer to have nothing on its back - two minds and the rider has to control the brain of another living being that has a mind of its own no other sport compares when you think of it that way.
Most people disregard horse racing because of the betting and money element if they think at all about the horse they think of its welfare rather than the sheer challenge of man and beast joined as one
