What can we do?

With no racing until Boxing Day (or later) what on earth can we do to win money? Well, last night, I decided to have a punt on the darts (something I know a little about), and, hey presto I won! I haven't a clue what I will bet on today, any suggestions people?

Martin,

I had a few fun bets on the greyhound races when the racing wasn't on but found it really difficult, even though there are only 6 in the field. If anyone has any tips on reading greyhound stats then I might throw a few pennies at them again today to break up the boredom of Christmas shopping

Somebody once told me to pick three numbers (I think it was 6,5,4 and keep reverse tri-casting them and over time you will be up). He obviously had deeper pockets than me

Hi Jonathon, I suppose combining 4,5 and 6 will pay out quite often.
I was told, many moons ago, to take each trap in turn, look at the time they achieved in that trap and deduct 0.2 for each bump, crowded etc and you end up with a time for each trap. It works .....sometimes

Brilliant. I'm going to have a a little go now with a few quid for a bit of fun. Drinks are on me if I still have the cash in my pocket in the next hour :-)

my brother Gary trains dogs for Poole stadium - have gone woefully wrong unless am at the track and see the real punters getting the price late - everything else is too dodgy -- used to go to a dog track near Ramsgate years ago - think they have turned it into a garden centre now - and as a wee lad used to walk home from Harringay dogs with uncle - used to push me through the door first if it was bad night!
