can almost smell the Nh season starting to get into gear

If you remember back to my Blog post ref the visit to Lucinda Russell yard I told you about 2 of the lesser known inmates that Peter Scudamore suggested we should take an interest in. QUINDER SPRINGS was one of those horses.

He runs today in the 2.45 at Carlisle. This boy won 6 point-to-points on the spin  and Scu was confident they would pick up at least a couple of races with him last term(and Duly obliged).

Today's race certainly looks like a winnable opportunity and the feeling is this one has still got this mark within its grasp. has won so well fresh and the layoff of 197 days is not a problem.

Lucinda Yard is coming into some form (eight  placed animals out of last 14 runners) and Buchanan is convinced he can travel on good ground.

Bred from Chef De Clan who's progeny can win on almost any ground He is convincing as a 3m+  horse (they do think highly of this one;) he has a great chance of getting his season off to a flyer at  decent odds of around 6/1

from Lucinda yard --- Won on his return under rules in a 2m4f handicap chase in the Autumn, and followed up over 3m1f at Market Rasen staying well. Has struggled a little with his handicap mark after that  despite running well. Will have a short summer break then will continue in staying chases in the late summer.
Keep your eye on this one no matter what he does today
