class Plus 121011

 Here is the promised page for stakes races - (unfortunately today on the AW) but it does show the animals that have a high percentage of wins during late September to date on turf.
 would love you to take a look at the page and race and carry out your own assessment so that we can consider the format for all decent stake races.
Looks like it will soon be confined to the AW but we do have champion day on Saturday and a few in between let me know if its helpful and what changes you consider are valid  - click the screen shot to enlarge

 Result ---- Probably a fair maiden and it paid to be handy. Not only did it result in a 1-2 for Godolphin (albeit different trainers) but it was also a 1-2 for the sire Dubawi.

AHZEEMAH  second top class +  but had most blues page 8  and maximum blues page 6 - showed he could handle Polytrack when runner-up over further at Wolverhampton last time, but this drop in trip may not have been totally in his favour so his effort can be upgraded. Always handy, he looked held by the third horse after turning in but his stamina then came into play and he got up in the last 50 yards. A return to further will help him.

Curzon Line top Class+ best of the draws with the winner but had less blues page 8 had looked a hard ride in two turf maidens and was hanging starting up the home straight here before staying on. He now gets a mark and can win a race, but he isn´t one to take a short price about.

Oblitereight ran well when runner-up at Kempton on his second start, but the race hasn´t really worked out since (0-17). Given a positive ride, it seemed that he had done enough when edging clear off the final bend, but the Godolphin pair cut him down. He can now be handicapped.

Instrumentalist ran on well from the middle of the field to fare best of the newcomers. A £27,000 half-brother to four winners at up to 1m4f, he should get further and is worth keeping an eye on.

His Royal Highness had over 2l to find with Ahzeemah on Wolverhampton running and was tried in a visor, but having been handy early he hung away to the far rail over a furlong out and had little left. He is another who now gets a mark.

Both Tazweed and Green Legacy proved far too green to do themselves justice.

QUOTES: Jockey William Buick: "Ahzeemah stuck to his guns nicely and battled."
