I backed ADVERTISE in the Newbury 3:45 this morning early @ 9/2, a big e/w bet. Has lots in its favour. Ran a blinder last time out over same trip and in better grade. Finished very fast and stayed on dourly at the death only to fail by half a length at Bath. Is now dropped in class from Class 4 down to Class 5 and if reproducing its last run it could well suffice. It has a lovely draw in Stall 9 of 12 runners where high stalls are favoured here over a mile. This is Jimmy Fortune's first time riding the horse and i see that as another plus. What interests me highly is the horses record on good to soft ground. Out of its 3 runs on the ground it has 1 Win - 1 Place - 1 Unplaced so thats another big plus. Balding is in great form of late, his last 10 runs have produced 2 Wins and 4 Places with a 60% place record in its last 10 runs. Interestingly when Fortune has teamed up with Balding , the statistic is as follows : 9 Runs - 2 Wins - £7,381 Prizemoney - 22% Win SR - 110% Profit - £9.91 profit to Level Stakes.
Must go close
