2.30 Kelso 4miles marathon

Can Gillies make it a hat trick on Outlaw Tom? I say so - loves distance and soft heavy ground - ran to 118 in my ratings at hexham over 4miles and staying is its game - rated 114 in a class higher is no worry - his occassional sloppy early jumps are - but has its conditions  and off this 10-03 will help him - his run under 11-06 was shrugged off  to beat Duble Default and for a marathon runner  goes really well on a track as stiff as Kelso after a layoff this 18 days

Was an appalling run from the Outlaw bloody hopeless jumping and nothing like its last run. lagged around the back hitting everything in sight.
The winner was top rated in the VFB but was simply too stupid to get off this one and onto that despite my notes Eyre Square 100% cim soft but ignored by me
as for the race - he travelled comfortably and saw out every inch of this 4mile trip. Connections have not mapped out any definite plans but a small break then before coming back for a race like the Eider has to be in their sights now.
