its more that I want to put up a long shot than anything else and today am going with Sapphire Rouge in the 12.55 Ascot. a proven stayer on Soft/heavy ground to a mark it has run to before - its run up with the pace last time at Exeter over 2m7f on soft ground (was given as g/soft) showed its in the peak of its form. has achieved dist+ on heavy ground at Towcester and its Cim form is solid 75% from 6 runs Cim tracks. Can run from any part of the field though expect it to be held up for today distance
