fontwell is going to be tuff 051211

There is still frost in the ground but a drying sun - should be really sticky ground by race time  the 1.40 appeals for these Novices and an outsider I like is Super Ken - ridden today by O'Brien who won on him in its bumper at 28s - shame about the ground for this one but he put up a really fighting performance on heavy ground till he made a has of 4 out - but still kept on in the way of a very good horse - the soft ground today means that anyone looking for a bet will discount this one in favour probably of Duke Of Monmouth who relishes the underfoot. I think the mistake by Super was more the reason for its defeat than the ground which must have played its part but he was rushed at its hdles by the claimer that day and O'Brien will be steadier. Midnight Gamble can reward in the place market - by Midnight Legend  the ground should be right up its street. Henderson's Lets Get Serious is a worthy favourite  but Overbury progeny don't have a liking for soft ground and its bridle run at Cheltenham will not be suited by this going even with Mccoy - coming from behind will take some doing - will be a bet for me if he is up with the pace half way round

2.50 Sedgefield  going described as  Good To soft - really like the chances of Sue Smith Horse Heather Glen in this under this claimer - this is his trip and ground found 3miles too far at Newcastle last run in its first handicap and the rating today is well within its remit - Shoal Bay Dreamer is an improver with no weight can run to this mark and is the animal I fear most - health warning is that they are against the boys today but they have showed up well against them before

Let me know what your opinion is please guys

I had lets get Serious in mind in that race aswell, but I wanted to bet inrunning, as Medinas ran before a cracker in Newbury in a very fast time compared to a HH2 run that day, but nevertheless it was a tough affair because both had long layoff and I was like you, when the fav is with the pace its would have been def worth a bet, as its a bridle horse.

Well the run from lets gets Serious was seriously good appeared to hate the ground but ploughed through it like a horse with a very bright future - as to mine once the ground had changed to heavy it had no chance and was simply out for the run today
