Monday 5th December --cards are in the post! prezzies to follow

Poor Monday fare that's for sure but some betting races that catch the eye.
12.50 Musselburg the one that looks as if 2miles stretches it will want the ground on the good side  is Makbullet - Tom O'Brien takes the ride and he has a great way of getting that extra distance out of non stayers. His run here on g/soft was not that bad anyway - a winning sprinter on the Flat, appeared to see out the trip well, just being undone in the closing stages.  Was Beaten that day by  Voges who went on to win again next time and has excellent form at Musselburg - He travelled best throughout the race and jumped nicely, but good ground is likely to bring the best out of him.
The two at the top of the market are newcomers to hdles and am discounting them. The next is Kaolak who is a bit of a dodgepot for passing animals - has ability and travels so well in a race but has had his chances and thrown them away. Ferdy Murpy takes Angel Sun and this one also needs to pull its finger out but soft ground will suite it and though never going right handed before I will be watching for any money .

3.10 Plumpton - 3m2f soft ground --- The track will have been well cut up by this race  and its gonna be a slog - would have a bit of a fancy for Beware Chalk Pit apart from Poor ole Andrew Thornton getting the ride - he is better slower races over a distance but he will be hanging down the neck of this one at the finish - am tempted by Quartz Du Montceau who is a very fair chaser this sort of grade and the cut up ground will suite it and is capable of getting the lead he needs and if he does then he will set a pretty moderate pace - is off a mark he can pulverise them off - ran a half decnt race last time at Fontwell but its run round here off 95 beating Hobbs Dream by 7l on heavy makes it a bet for me

 good luck today guys

someone else must have written that Martin --- that was a very decent money maker laying the first two and even getting out for a profit on my selection - you are correct in chastising me. I should be more controlled and moderate!

have noticed that there are three animals napped for the 2.00 Lingfield and that's pretty unusual - so am taking you all on with a good run from Pepon who is coming back to some form (AW for gawds sake) but last run at Kempton was pretty cute and return to this track is my plus---money in my pocket or would not attempt this aw punt
