Ground could be tacky this afty according to the clerk of the course - that's a cop out for the clerk it could well be holding and a premium on staying plus down to 7 runners - you will need to have stamina on your side - that's going to make the market too silly for words - stayer yes ground no the only one with significant for could well be Somersby and no horse who hasn't done the 3miles has won this yet ---Long Run will stay and stay and stay and has decent form the ground looks to be the best suited after all -- Have bunged a few quid on the complete outsider Golan Way who jumped like a stag out of the ground g/sft can take these fences and distance - its leaps over the railway fences at sandown makes it no forlorn chance - outclassed yes - decent animal for sure.

Are there any dosage angles? I had the free version of the 2010 book pdf of narrowing the field they put up on christmas put seems to be I cannot find it anymore. Captain Chris is out for you now I guess because of the Distance statistic?
Actually your selections make sense in that way. Strong stats on your side for the Lay and have also the feeling there is one Hold Up horse that can catch Kauto late.
The only pointer to this race as far as Dosage is required is you need a staying sire - in the last 10 years and beyond that's all you can say about dosage for this race - the stats say get em young get them with stamina and get them with class - I did make the mistake of backing Captain Chris before the going was indicated as sticky a cardinal sin from me but- am convinced that Kings theatre Progeny can only get this distance on good ground was finishing his last like a train before unseating so g/sft would not be a problem but the distance plus glue makes me think its beyond it today have to be very lucky to collect on that one
