Analysis of tracks/horses

Rade am impressed with your analytical mind - that true -- but your like a grasshopper leaping from one idea to another - I hope you do not mind me asking you to take a long look at the Vfb where you will find many of the answers already laid out ..  Let me start by saying you have to start with pedigree - but its a start. Not a conclusion.

As the breed is watered down or enhanced by time the old adage of "class will out" remains constant. but its all down to trainers who understand their animals and trainers who don't. - we are starting the NH season  so will remain there.

Today you had a conviction of Georgian King at Kempton --  it was a view shared by The racing post and punters -- but it was never going to win a race at Kempton as long as it had a fundamental orifice.  Vfb showed how badly the animal had run around a sharp track in the past and this track in particular -- NO matter how well it ran last time at Cheltenham  it had run twice over hdles kempton  fell and pulled up  it had run once over fences there  finishing a very poor 3rd 23 l behind the winner . Each run it was on the outside of the field trying to get around the bends which are just too sharp for it -- I have great respect for its trainer but she is young and has a really good feel for Plumpton - and is learning - but her learning is costing punters big time. By looking at the VFb (Form In a line)  and without any other prior knowledge you would have seen this  -
The racing post write up today says "a line can be drawn through this run"  I will add (BUT NOT IF ITS GOING AROUND A SHARP TRACK AGAIN)- horses configuration will remain constant - they cannot suddenly learn to run around a sharp bend any more than a snail can learn to travel over salt.. glass yes salt no.
You have to have plenty of runs from a horse to see if its progressing and where/ground distance it is progressing and where it has run a stinker - The Vfb is the first port of call to do this. You know horses for courses and sires for ground conditions (old Vic for  striding tracks and soft ground ) but that is not a fact of life its just a starting point . Old Vic progeny on such a track is a useless piece of information (and costly) on that fact alone you have to see its results over a few races -- some trainers in the top rank will put them out just for the run just for the ground and just for the bookies (though the last is not intentional  unless proved otherwise ) but the bookies will have the information that the punters don't have.

And you have the information the majority of punters don't have and dare I say it don't want.
Here is the first screen of my System qualifiers for tomorrow - its a really poor card but you can see how many animals are already highlited and why - snap on the screen to take a look at a race and we go through it
remember we still haven't got the ground !  lets pick a race and do the work together to see if our combined minds can find one that will not bite itself on the way to the start and gallop home clear.
I say this with respect and hope we can develop first with what we know and secondly by what we can learn. It has taken me many years to be selective in my betting - I hope to short circuit this for you .. you will see things I dont -- and I will learn also
