Try looking at Nolands run in the same race a few years before, he did the same thing.

It looks a good novice chase again after the excellent ones we've been treated to on Friday & Saturday.

Bellvano is very highly rated by Henderson and won a good novice in Ireland last time out.

Court in Session has impressed me greatly in his two Novice Hurdle wins and its intresting he's now sent over fences, he has experience in the P2P field.

Al Ferof is one of the apples in Nicolls's eye though and even though he will come on for the run its hard to look past him.

As long as theres 8 runners i'll proberly be playing in the place market only with Court in Session & Bellvano.

Good Morning Gentlemen -- first off this race has a 50% strike rate for favourites and 50% strike rate for paul Nichols but there is the old and well worn rules for cheltenham novice chases

rule 1 - Dont back odds on first chase novice chase ever.
rule 2 if you have VFB change the race to hdles - look for class speed and best time of year highlite qualifiers (Court in Session /lancetto /Astracad)

rule 3 look for chase dosage animal (Astracad bred from same sire Big Bucks)
so all that together plus the fact that Alforof fell when 4/7 fav after a 268 day lay off here at cheltenham means this horse is so under priced it hurts - maybe a bet in running at the bottom of the hill last bend but nothing else -- the bet for me if you twist my arm is place Astracad at 3 for three places -- good luck
