Bumper at Herford today 4.00

I Love bumpers !
am happy to take my chances with Shrewd Decision (Currently 21s on Betfair) in this mares and fillies event  Motivator filly whose dam is out of Generous , bred by the Queen, was all the rage in its run at Towcester but met a bundle of trouble in running dropping to the back of the pack before hitting the hill  and running on very nicely for 4th place. The booking of Moore for this is significant in my eyes with the right hand track more suited and the extra distance a must, she is capable of showing her flat speed against these mainly jumps bred animals - Bowen has one entered for this in Lucky Thumb who ran nowhere in the Aintree Bumper and cant help feeling that though it has O'Brien on board he would have booked Moore if he could have done so
Result --That was bloody horrible to watch - never at the races intentional or otherwise made no difference - was quietly impressed with one or two of these - but hats off to Jason Maguire  first ride back since winning the national - that will fill the  racing newspapers tomorrow

 good luck all

yep it certainly has advertised the run of Barbatos it was almost faultless round of jumping wasn't it.
Now the confession - I did not make a note of its run against Barbetos it did not jump out at me in the bookas I dont really like limited Handicap and certainly not first time fencing Favourites in such - no bet in the race for me but the note is well made now mate -- and the link to Barbatos

The Flat-bred Petrarchick shaped with plenty of promise, and so too did Easter Dancer, who impressed with the way she moved through the race. She was kept wide by her rider, who was presumably keen to race on less chewed up ground. She looked a little green and unorganised when coming under pressure, but she clearly has an engine andought to learn plenty from this.
