In the highest prize money race in Fakenham seems Bottman to me the horse winning despite low odds. Is the only horse a bit unexposed and there is room for more. Dosage suggests s a good stayer and the performance in Cheltenham was pretty impressive against good animals. Helpston won LTO in good run race, but I dont like this horse as its to massive and doesnt really come into gear very fast in the endsprint. Larks Lad is a a danger here aswell, but just from otical judgement, I would say, that the conditions suit Bottmann the most as its on an improving trail with more to come and has a style that suits in finish even when the pace is slow today.

Cannot disagree with your summing up of this Beginners chase - have run the analyser as if it was a hlde race and watched the replays - am not as sure as you are of how good that last race by Bottman was here at Fakenham made loads of mistakes when beating get it on he jumped to the left and brushed through a few of these - is not a genuine horse for the track - so am not keen to back it if it gets taken on those mistakes will cost it
larks lad is a soft ground bred and Helpstone by Harry lewis has been plagued with pelvis injuries but showed he is a genuine 3mile chaser on Good ground and to me is the likely winner but those injuries worry so its a bet in running if at all
have put a small bet in for the outsider of the field No Rules who is a genuine Fakenham animal over hdles and a commited stayer - not bred for fences but gets in so well today
good luck Rade

thanks for the nod on langley mate - have a sneaky look at the in running price for Black Dragon who is the complete nutter and will be a decent back to lay as he will shorten dramatically from its starting price as he races off and if he gets home today is fine but will go right down in price for a decent profit

dont think we will see No Rules over fences again!

Actually you were right here with the track robert, Helpston is a massive animal suited by the long climb. I traded out early backed 2.48 and layed 1.98, so its not a tragedy, but you spotted the winner well, actually I should have seen, that helpston as a massive animal is suited by the long climb. Well done!

Actually Rade its size was the one thing that made me think it would find the track too sharp -- hes a strong galloper and today showed a touch of his sire ability not only was his stride great he shortened and the bends were made to look much more sweeping than they are - its a smashing little track but its like a merry go round with undulations - he will be much much better on a galloping track thats for sure

I send you an email robert, as I want to go with you more into dosage.
