Haydock again today :)

I made a decision overnight that I would go to Haydock again today, for one reason, and on reason only, to have possibly my last look at one of the greats, Kauto Star. Kauto had given many of us some brilliant memories and although slightly regressive now, is still a top chaser. Long Run, still only 6, has a bright future ahead; could even win another 2 or 3 King Georges and Gold Cups. We are privileged living in the Uk to be able to watch such high class steeplechasers and hurdlers; Captain Christy, Red Rum, The Dikler, Desert Orchid, Pendil, Bula, Sea Pigeon, Best Mate, Denman and the list goes on and on thankfully. Bazck to this race today, the Betfair Chase (formerly The Lancashire Chase), Kauto Star could win this. Won it back in 2009, took the Down Royal route last season (won) before running well again in the King George and Gold Cup (3rd). There's still a race left in this oldie. Long Run needed an outing last year before taking on and conquering all, and I haven't seen Kauto at such odds - has to be worth one of Bobs scheckels! Here's to a good race
