Towcester bumper - 3.45

As you know I love bumpers for future notes and the bumper at Towcester is not bad for an intermediate.
Really like the  look of this lot with top marks going to Wild Ruby from the Mullens yard He owns it as well and his Annimation ran a cracker yesterday  - sired by Oscar the deeper ground should not stop it today - the negative is Andrew Thornton in the saddle but came from last to first on its only bumper run under an agricultural ride to say the least from James Derham and if he could get it home so should The ole boy today.
But as they say in the Cotswold's Mr Daley (how can such a great yard go so wrong?) they have a live chance on Staccato Valtat under Jake Greenall  showed surprising speed for such a stoutly bred animal at Ludlow and the Hill at Towcester is just what it needs. Absolutely needed the run that day but showed bags of promise with Stamina going to be its strong suite in time and looks a cracking animal on what I saw that day - wishing Daly all the luck he can get but at least hes got the track and conditions right for a change.

I liked it cos it didn't settle for ages at Lingfield but started to get the hang of things albeit far too late to play a part in the finish.

I'll see what the RP has to say about that race - I hate the fog!

According to RP:
Leader Of The Gang, a first-time-out brother to smart staying hurdler Material World, made late progress to grab third. He had travelled in midfield for the first half of the race, but stayed on strongly.

Banks Road, a first-time-out half-brother to staying chaser Alderluck, was in rear early on. He made up a deal of ground in the second half of the race and, as might be expected from his pedigree, should improve when racing over longer trips.
