Ascot 2.45 181111

The fact that Lucinda Russell has come all the way from Scotland with Quito Du Tresor under Campbell Gillies  for this class 3 handicap attracts my eye. The yard knows exactly where they are  with this horse who on its day is a superb jumper of right handed tracks with a high Cim rating. When it was beaten at Perth 010710 it was simply because he was up against an animal who got the run on him after the last - 2m4f having led and jumped so well under a bridle ride till then.

The handicapper has relented to get in at this mark and the ground and distance look ideal. Its run over hdles at Perth 220911 under Cockburn (10) showed its well being - its run at Aintree last time simply went off like a jet and out like a light so
Why is she bringing it here today - not for the bus ride surely - she's more canny than that. And I have a great deal of time Campbell.
Will do for my only bet today
 Good Luck
 Bob

For tommorow I have in Ascot I HeardDu on my notes list and the race looks very good 1.00 Ascot can have odds 5+ or higher. Would be nice what you have to say to this runner.

- Went 2nd but needs a faster race to play out finishing strenghts, just failed to win this because the race was slow and the winner is a more handy finisher type. Needs a faster race with real Frontrunner and play out stamina strength.

Today has a few front runner inclusive Bounds and Leaps as Made All runner. I give HeardU great chances tomorrow as track conditions seem to suit.

Very pleased with that jumped like a deer and its last fence was incredible for a horse at the end of its stamina drew clear for a very easy win-I make that a mark of 136 and will be interested to see what the handicapper makes of it - probably have to go into the next grade up
Thanks for the congrats Rade glad you made some Euro's (whatever they are!)
