3.00 Sedgefield 2m4 HH4

Presque Perdre a 7 year old currently trading around the 15.0 BSP should be seriously considered today after a long absence from the hurdles and a Flat warm up in Doncaster in October. Raced 2009 in a 16k Class 3 Handicap in Cheltenham and finished very close to animals who won several Class 2-3 outings. Made a mistake and race was run at a decnt pace in fact the horse made loads of the running, made a mistake, but still battled on gamely against decent animals. If close to the form from 2009 has for sure in todays contest more than better chances to win this. Beat already animals like King Mak and Mister Pete over 20 lengths in 2009`s form.
Looking at the stats which are very strong also, Sharp 3-0-3, Sedg 1-0-1,Level 2-0-4, 2m3-2m4 1-3-5, F Kenir 3-2-8, Going Good 2-1-4. One should look at the odds movement during the day, but I will take this price and hopefully will steam, as I believe could steam a lot.

1.20 Huntington 2m 5f HH5

This is a dodgepot contest with several animals never placing or winning in their career.
Interesting to me here is one horse which could have a good value for this race 9 year old Saddlers Supreme sired Saddlers Hall never won or placed in his entire career. Entered last time out in a big field Conditional Hcp Class 4 Hurdle in Wetherby over 2m6f which was run at a really good pace and this horse was ridden the first time by Conditional Jockey T E Whelan. SP was 100/1 and this horse was really close held up in the field at a really good pace and making strong progress in the end until the 2m5f mark and just couldnt finish with the leaders finishing a close 5th. It was a good run Class 4 Hurdle and considering that the horse needs the 2m5+ trip it has every chance under todays conditions. BSP odds of 14 are very valuable in this weak race today. Doyenne Dream -Non Runner is the improving 4 year old and goes of as fav and is also my favourite of winning this. LTO was a solid performance as a 2nd in Wetherby, currently 4.2 BSP a bit short for a HH5 event with dodgepots, but has Top Jockey on Board and good current form, but I wont bet this horse in this contest.
