Cheltenham 111111

Good Morning guys the date says it all  and we should spend some time in thinking of all the wasted lives from all the countries of the world who  were injured or died in any bloody war  - the same men and woman who never volunteered to die never liked parades and pomp but loved warmth company cuddles and fun -- remember them as they would want to be remembered  - with love - and get on with your own lives being nice to one another.

Cheltenham today and I will miss the friends I used to go there with but if they are able in whatever way they will be shouting and screaming throwing their hats in the air and - getting back to the bar after a winner ---

Will be putting the recorder on for the races and will want to see how last years compilation  of  stayers highlights run -- will not be a lot of money going on but will be hoping there is big runs from the following bridle stayers  Who qualify for the conditions achieved over the last three meetings :
1.10 Swing Bill -Quattrocento  Bescot  Springs --Time For Spring
1.45 Tanks for That -  Oh Crick
2.20  Uncle Junior
 2.55 Redara
 3.30 Dune Shine

Good Luck all

 Bob

I served my 'time' as it were during the Falklands , naturally, aI didn't see any action, in fact, I never left these shores, but as you say, remembrance day - without those brave men, boys and women who knows what the UK would be i=like now.

I note with interest, you haven't selected or commented on any of my selections - I;m not sure if that is good or bad lol

did the first three - and thought Swing Bill the most Impressive (though whip rule broken I see)Tanks For That is def one for later as it was pretty gawky and Uncle Junior the most exciting race still thought Garde Chaptre was going to get me right at the death.
