Laying

Laying is not my strength at all I have to admit, but i wanna go into this more.
With the formbook I look for a new approach which looks like this, I gi ve an example of the Bangor 3.40 HH5 Conditional Jockey Hurdle 8 runners.

The animal i am looking at is Sallys Idea, which wa 4/1 before 15min before the off but drifted heavily to 7.0 out. Are there reason for it. I like the approach to see against what animals it raced against before, so lets look at that.

14/01/2011 Hunt 2m Soft 2k HH4 looks like a Class 4 event, but is it?

I f you check into the race and click on DaH it shows up the previous and subsequent Hcp ratings of all runners. Like you can see in the formbook it was such a weak race not even a Class 5 race and it still got beaten 8 lenghts to a horse with a 69 Hcp mark.

Looking at the previous runs it conforms that Sallys Idea is a false fav.

What do you think about this approach?

Hi Rade - am more of a cover bet layer myself and Martin is the man for lays - Laying Sallys Idea would have been pretty Cool with a 25/1 winning the race BUT it was a conditional Jocks race today Sallys Idea had not run for 299 days and if you open form in array you would have seen the dah of Spinning waters was top today and the winner Second Brook in fact has a higher Emr than Sallys ---
The procedure is right as far as it goes and they were all pretty poor
