More On the whip rules and how to capitalise 071111

Take a look back to my posting  Friday 21 October 2011
I wrote there is value in looking for horses (especially Mr McCoy) who have had to be driven in the past .
As a consequence I set another element to the analyser  very simply to look for horses who had finished in the first three but had the comment Driven the race ---
Of the races since that date it has produced some very good lay animals under what I have called whip rule minus - No horse carrying that criteria has won and many have started off favourite or second favourite -

yesterday for example Caddie Master in the 3.10 Ffoss Lass went off at 4.5 - my analyser picked up 4 elements
Vic Sired
 heavy going
bridle horse
whip rule minus

not only did it perform to those criteria  - "Caddie Master was held up in a wide position and got a strong enough pace to enable him to move up well, but he just could not quite get there, not helped by the new whip limits. After rattling off three wins from a starting mark of 89, he showed himself to be highly competitive off 120.  MR McCoy gets another smack!

this could well pay the way for a while as Jocks get used to it but will be invaluable in hands and Heels races !

I would ask you to look at this element

Very interesting! What do you mean with Lay animals and from what date did you start analyse?

Rad you have to accept this is as a result of the whip rules changing - before that date this would not have applied - take a look at my reasoning on Friday St October (by typing that date into search bar)
Lay animal means just that --- lay the beast
it simply saying that hoses suited to ground distance class etc under the old rules cannot be ridden the same under the new rules - jocks have to adapt and that gonna be hard even for the champ as we have since seen - even Ruby declaring he will limit his rides over here

INice piece and very logical. I don't believe in these whip rules however, especially for the likes of McCoy who is only trying to gain the best finishing position - but that's another debate

not believing in Whip rules is as silly as saying you don't believe in Aunties

do you mean you wont take advantage of the changes because you disagree with them?
