Chelteneham and Newmarket - (more for small bets and notebooks that's for sure) but exciting to have the premier NH back in swing.

Newmarket - look out for big runs from the Candy Yard today Vibes are strong for Cape Rambler in the 1.45 Newmarket - had problems from the wrong draw and the soft ground last time at Nottingham -and has a few setbacks that are expected to be overcome today - 20/1 presently and money expected.
Result  (Got the third place at 16/1 )
 2.20 Newmarket and the ride of Dettori catches the eye on the well bred Argocat (Monjeu bred) 1m4f  breeding yes but again has the ground and draw plus booking makes it a selection. Dunlop firing a lil better and his newcomer Romeo Montague is well drawn - place expected apparently (again Montjeu bred)
Result (Win at 11/1on Argocat --- Romeo Montague nowhere )
2.55 Dettori again on Mantoba (unusually a first run tongue time last run- Fallon rode this last time and has taken the ride on Dordoyn who put up a blistering display - a race to savour but no bet from me at this time .

 Biggest prize money today is the 3.30 Newmarket  and think it will go to the Saeed animals but which one ?
Frankie rode Al Zir (tongue tied first time today) in the racing post trophy last year but has opted for Vesuv (Al Zir has only 8-13) and if had opted for that it would have carried my money - Preference given to Frankie ride.
 Result -- Al Zir Played up in stalls - Nowhere
Cheltenhan 3.20 this race will throw up winners. 3miles hdle  - Templer won this last year off 10-02 (6lbs penalty) having scooted up at Exter the race before 9 days earlier-- makes me turn my eye to recent winner fit for this and there isant a stand out  So Pennies will go on Markington from the Bowen yard  who has been running on the flat and though no track form wil stay the distance plus and runs off 10-04-- ---but am pretty sweet on  making notebook entries for the runners in this race and watching( if not betting) Beuna Vista who ran in this last year and won the final of this qualifying race.
Result Markington Pulled up went wrong

Update --- Decent Fella for me in the 5.15 Newmarket  not a great draw and despite that will nap it in the Vfb at current 20/1 bred by Montjeu and my breeding horse of the season - snd top speed and greound  - its mark when running at leopardstown is well within his range today
 Result ----Nowhere
