Hope the going reports and weather is getting to you from the forum via email and that if your not getting them or not joined the linked forum yet you will hit the button

I really appreciate a read -- its important to me and anyone else that the author brings part of herself or himself  to each posting. -

Nathan AW weather is bring some new interest betting wise for me and there are some notebook entries coming from them for me which to say the least is unusual..Am a bit of a stickler there are too many races for too many poor horses and the class of animals running on AW (and the class of the races) means its more costly to get them there than the prize money and therefore has to be gambles and  too many unknown factors in every race -- but am getting there.

How about the update that Carole gave us for her trading- great has me involved and want to read the next months instalment to see how its going.

TGLL - is a self confessed chatter box and her lays are always worth looking for - have found so far that the more detailed her post the more definition is given and rewards gained ---more insights and chatter from this lady is expected and hoped for.

Martin -- what Can I update you with about Martin?  apart from being more confused than a ferret on speed (his default condition) he is a well loved idiot friend of mine who has more money than sense, too high an Indian Viagra dependency, and as yet still cannot get his prose beyond telling us his desire to strike up a relationship with lady compilers -- he will settle down when he's added a few years to his already considerable mileage.
Still waiting for Bens contribution on dosage and this is a gentle hint to him to give us some time - his newsletters are gold dust and if you not subscribed to him yet - do it
and welcome to the new kid on the block - Metro John -- will be looking for him to join us an author and will pursue him for his input !

thats it hope you have a great days punting and are rewarded by your research for the winners and profit

here is a posting on the Timeform Facebook radio wall that i hope you will profit from ref back to lay on Betfair (with thanks to the contributors)

    • Nathan Edwardes to do a back to lay...back at a higher price, lay at a lower price. if you looking to get a free bet out of it?.. I use it that way. So say I back a horse pre race at 10 for £5 then put in a lay of say 5.0 and keep for in running again for the same £5 stake. If your matched in running you get a free bet and of course if it wins you get the winnings.

    • Antony Hartley Ahhh haha thought there a button that said back to lay been looking for ages :)

    • Antony Hartley Thanks pal.

    • Nathan Edwardes lol yep its pretty useful as long as they run fairly well you should get matched (if your not tooo greedy lol). and if ya matched you can't lose anything on the race.

    • Carole Jackson There is another way to go green on the race too. Say you back at 8.0 for £10 then you put in a saved lay of 4.0 for £20 - assuming that the lower odds will be met in running. Youw ill then "go green" on the race and win £10 no matter which horse wins. My fav type of bet :D

    • Antony Hartley What about place lay or backing the horse just to place?
      14 minutes ago ·  ·

    • Nathan Edwardes yeah Ive done a bit of that too carole :) although I tend to stick to the just getting my stake back most of the time.
      14 minutes ago ·  ·

    • Carole Jackson do the same thing but select the "to be placed" option on the left under the primary race option
      13 minutes ago ·  ·

    • Robert Taylor agreed both Nathan and Carole this is the way to bet for minimum stakes and profit -- usually when the market is fully formed - not before unless your asking for bigger odds on backing and they get matched -
      13 minutes ago ·

    • Tony Beedle If for example you want to win £5 no matter what and the price is 6.00, back £10 @ 6.00 then put a lay in for £15.25 (thats your £5 profit and your basic 5% tax paid.) To find out what price you need to lay at you divide your back stake by your lay stake (£10/£15.25) and then multiply by your original back price. So its £10/£15.25*6 which should give you the lay price of 3.93. There may be easier ways but thats basically it.
