Monday review and a lesson?

Jack Dawkins has slipped markedly in the weights since his last win (for Henry Cecil) and he turned in easily his most encouraging performance of the season. He should be able to pick up a similar event if this can be built on and he is one to keep a close eye on. 


And the follow the crowd mentality shown yesterday on the fact that Mccoy had only one ride 
Mycenean Prince, This really is a pig of a horse and wilful dodgepot - his form tell you everything you want to know about him BUT THE MONEY CAME AND CAME backed into 5/2 JF  - ok not too bad recent form over hdles - but go look at him winning at Worcester the time before. And its record over fences is deplorable was the biggest lay of the day and scooped it all up - Put this up on Facebook "Really do not like the chances of McCoy and Mycenean Princess who is a horrible animal - only the master can get it home and is too inconsistent for me"
But the posts just kept coming All positive that MCcoy would boot it home and Why? because it was his only ride  - ( 0-15 over fences, was never really going.  the write up in the racing post was even more sympathetic than ever have read from it before post race   "having been hampered early and, having again been quite badly interfered with at the tenth, McCoy accepted the situation". thats just not true reflection - it was plainly not having any of it mulish ears back changing legs  - mad as a cut eel . pulled up and good thing too 
We are trying to get an angle on racing this blog and this is one fact you must take on board


 One Ride Does not Signal anything - nothing at all - ok take your chances when the horse is dark and nothing known of it But when you know its a pig jumps like a duck and whistles like a cow --let the others back it -- NOT YOU---  get yourself a form Book
