Morning all, sorry this is a bit late hope it may still beuseful. 10 days ago after a night of torrential rain they were watering the jumps course at Ascot. When I asked why as we had so much rain they said they were trying to hold it at good!
We have had a great deal of rain since then so I would think that it is good - good to soft in places expecially around the bottom end where it doesn't drain so well. We had a lot of rain overnight but also lots of wind. This morning is sunny and dry with no wind. Good luck all

Saturday is one of the joys of the week as the Boss Lady and I sit to gether and play Scoop 6that ...ok we never win but we have fun! Bob will remember my theory that Saturdays are not normally good days for making money as racing tends to be comptetitive...
Today we think
2.00 New Sand Skier - goes on the soft and and has the best average speed and a fair draw
2.35 New Secrecy a race not normaqlly to punt in as the form at the top of the card is so close.....Secrecy gets it on speed although Alexandros has won on soft. I wouldn't be suprised if First Cat nicks it either!
2.50 Wetherby Duc de Regnier of them all goes best fresh although Blazing Bayley should not be dismissed lightly
3.10 Newm Elas Diamond and Aneedah both have claims.... The latter ran creditably last time out when 4th running on its own on fas side at Newm
3.25 Weth I'm with Bob on Deep Purple for all teh reasons he cites!
3.40 Asc Carruthers ticks lots of boxes, CDG winner likes the going..might be top wieght but this is not so important in NH racing......
