Something strange going on with that old dodgepot Oniztiptoes in the 4.00 Market Rasen. This is an out and out stayer, usually held up. Acts on any ground although these days I think needs to get the toe in. Wainright runs it in a 2 and a half mile chase today - the trip is way too short and, it can't be to get the handicap mark down as it was 2nd the other day and was put up (weak race, should have won). My thinking is that the key couold be the going, OR they try front running tactics on it (can't see that though). I will be having a place only 'watch' type bet on this ... nothing much has caught my eye as of yet.
Edit: They are going to have a goold old fashioned gamble on this in the next few weeks - watch out for this little dodgepot over 3 miles plus

this is a shocker race Martin - last ran in august and had been running every other week till then! can handle the ground and track his mark round here 2m6f on good ground was 90 and gets in here today off 88 they do know how to fiddle the horses mark but even so !
That's why I've napped it Bob! It should have won 2 outings ago (see yr own notes lol) but why haven't they run it in the earlier contest over 3m 1f ??!
