The Badger Ale chase wincanton

This is  target for Nichols  over the years and his  The Minak  looks tailor made for increasing his tally  first came to my eye running a brilliant race at  hunt 250210 bred to get a trip a real potent force in his races won the same race as Time For Rupert worth following. Have read Rads summing up and cannot agree its a lay animal

As per usual am looking for an animal that has run to at least a mark of 126-128 and that brings my eye to Checkerboard  getting in off a low weight  and a big improver for his new trainer and The Rainbow Hunter who won round here on heavy ground over hdles under this very good claimer today.

The chances of Dovers Hill are weakened by its seeming inability to run well in big fields and its fall last week at Kempton worries if it can get off in front then i will be tempted to jump on in running

at the time of writing am not able to see any more than chances for them  though I am more than likely to row in with the chances of The Rainbow Hunter for a win bet
