Wednesday nap? 17 Nov -- Bobt

Have only one bet today and have put it up in naps table 3.10 Hexham  Novice chase 3.10 - ground conditions - Heavy
Young Buddy - first time over fences - really like this animal - bred from Reel Buddy and with Jefferson, ridden today by James Halliday (5) This horse goes well for an apprentice . Have been waiting for it to go chasing on a tuff track and today's conditions are ideal for him -- Jefferson has always said he is waiting for a chasing opportunity this race is ideal and expect it to be backed hard - got the 20s last night and currently is around the 12s mark. My notebook - Stays so well in heavy ground form 896 and today won 2m4f heavy at newcastle 33/1 200110 48 dsr handicap hdle conditional jockeys kyle james 8lbs this is the first time stepped up to 2m4f and the heavy ground suited it well jumps quite big and is of a size to make a chaser at easier fence tracks.
That was after watching him at Newcastle.  (Hexham similar to Newcastle with stiff uphill finish and quite soft fences for novice chaser.)
Douglas Julian is at the head of the market and is a genuine Hexham type also first time chasing today with ground to suite but its achievement in heavy ground is slightly lower than that of Young Buddy some decent track animals should keep the price around this current mark.
-----------------------------------

Young Buddy was well fancied and backed down to 8s BUT Quickly went out in the betting and out to 300s by half way did not jump at all against the wind. Douglas Julian won well to cover the bet -  he had a feather weight to carry and it counted big time - brutal contest and this one simply went so well - plenty had chances but Douglas Junior simply broke all their hearts
